ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Greenlight America is the leading grassroots campaign force powering the nation’s clean energy transition at the local level. Founded in 2023, we support local organizations and volunteers working to get clean energy projects built in their communities. In the past two years we have advanced more than 25 gigawatts of clean power to the grid, approximately 13x the size of the Hoover Dam.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The National Community Partnerships Manager will play a vital role in supporting Greenlight's national nonprofit partnerships. The position will be responsible for leading quality outreach to our close partners, maintaining strong data management systems, providing internal administrative support, and conducting partner research. We are excited to bring on an organized and detail-oriented team member to strengthen our ability to serve our partners, strengthen our internal systems, and support successful Greenlight campaigns.
A successful candidate for this position will have experience in both external and internal written and verbal communications, database management, administrative functions, and project management tools. They will be a proactive team player with excellent organization, task management, and time management abilities and a passion for clean energy and maintaining relationships. The position is remote and reports to the Senior Partnerships Manager.
PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage timely communication with national partners including engagement opportunities and sharing Greenlight resources and information.

Coordinate bespoke outreach alerting national partners to campaign opportunities. This requires strong email writing skills tailored to a large and diverse national list of partners.

Provide internal support through project management, coordinate across departments, conduct detail-oriented information gathering, track outcomes, and report back highlighting successful partner engagements.

Own or support relationships with national partners.

In coordination with manager, manage external relationships with certain partners.

Coordinate regular meeting schedules with national partners, prepare agendas, communicate across appropriate stakeholders. Lead some external meetings.

Manage incoming requests for meetings, training opportunities, events, and other partner engagements. Fulfill these requests directly or coordinate internally to respond in a timely manner.

Data Management for Community Partnership Team:

Ensure accurate and consistent partnership data is available internally.

Support partnership and campaign staff with protocols, data entry, and cleanup.

Collaborate internally to improve organization-wide data and workflow structures

Maintain customized outreach templates, regularly pull customized partner lists for campaign prospecting, and track partner priorities to improve engagement.

Track and report on partnership engagements for both internal and external stakeholders.

Coordinate team administrative functions with National Partners (e.g., scheduling, agenda-setting, note-taking, partner briefs, appropriate reports, and follow-up).

Support partnership team research, prospecting, reporting, and be responsive to requests for support from Campaigns Team, other departments, and leadership.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are especially interested in candidates with the following qualifications:

3+ years of relevant experience in campaigns or nonprofit partnership roles

Relevant experience in project management, or similar administrative roles

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management

Experience with CRM databases and task tracking systems (such as Asana)

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

Experience in the nonprofit sector and with relationship-building across organizations

Proficient with Google Suite, PC platforms, and remote work environments

Knowledge of and experience with relational organizing and clean energy work

Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition

Willingness to think creatively, take calculated risks, objectively evaluate, and iterate

Ability to work independently and take initiative while functioning as part of a collaborative team

Commitment to discretion and confidentiality when handling partner and campaign information

Experience with data management, tracking, and reporting

Comfortable working with diverse stakeholder populations and adjusting language and messaging appropriately

Willingness to give and receive feedback
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with partner prospecting and research
-
Experience with developing and maintaining relationships across national nonprofit organizations to achieve campaign objectives

Basic understanding of nonprofit organizations including 501c3 and 501c4 structures
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base annual salary for this position is $75,000-$100,000. We offer an excellent benefits package which includes 100% employer paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, monthly technology stipend, and retirement contributions through 401k and Roth plans.
Placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on the candidate’s years of relevant professional experience.
